A little about Nuni:

Nuni is a Danish jewellery company that designs unique, colourful and playful jewellery. The jewellery is designed in Nuni’s exuberant premises in Roskilde, where there is room for large arm movements and endless creative ideas. All the jewellery is made from a combination of gold-plated sterling silver and colourful pearls and semi-precious stones.

Nuni started in 2017 to find its DNA and refine the brand, after which they were launched in 2019. Nuni’s foundation consists of a strong collaboration between the married couple Maria Fodeh and Kenny Christensen, who have always shared creativity and a strong driving force, as well as more than 25 years of experience from the industry.

From the start, Nuni’s mission has been to bring colour into the world of jewellery without compromising on quality. Nuni wanted to modernize the consumer’s view of what expressions silver and gold jewellery can have by e.g. mixing in Japanese pearls, semi-precious stones and coloured freshwater pearls to give it a fresher and more playful look.

The design process is based on a principle of creating unique and playful jewellery that is maximalist rather than minimalist, which they have plenty of opportunity for with their treasure chest of everything from new to 25-year-old pearls, scraps that can be remelted, old designs combined with new and much more.

Nuni’s vision is to sell her unique jewellery to women all over the world, but with strong roots in Maria and Kenny’s trendsetting design process in the heart of Roskilde.
