Izabel Camille jewellery

Welcome to Izabel Camille’s jewellery universe

My jewellery and my creativity are a gift from me to you who believe that my designs support your style and personal expression in the way you choose to wear and put them together.

My jewellery is romantic and stylish, sometimes with a quirky twist, but they all contain a story – an expression that helps to highlight each woman’s unique personality.

I am driven by the design process. From the first idea to the drawing and on through production until the jewellery is finished – it is a fantastic process that I happily repeat.

My jewellery should be the icing on the cake. It should support your personal style and mood through shapes, colours, style and expression. Jewellery is the last thing you put on to complete your daily or festive look. They tell a story – about what mood you are in, what type you want to radiate that day, and whether you want to use the jewellery to upgrade and highlight your look or stylishly tone it down.

Wearing jewellery is like colouring a drawing and making it come alive and personal through the colours and the way you choose to use them.

I put thought, emotion and energy into designing and developing each piece of jewellery. The women who wear them add their own personal style and expression, depending on how they choose to combine and wear the jewellery.

Lund Copenhagen

The history of Lund Copenhagen
The history of Lund Copenhagen can be traced back to 1858, when goldsmith’s apprentice, Bernhard Hertz, passed his apprenticeship test. He sold his apprenticeship piece – a gold leaf bangle adorned with diamonds, pearls and rubies – to Frederik VII for 300 rigsdaler

The king gave the piece of jewellery to Countess Danner, while Hertz used the money to lay the foundation for ‘Bernhard Hertz’ – a successful goldsmith’s business in an otherwise crisis-stricken Denmark. The bangle, known as one of the “most magnificent and best-executed goldsmith’s works” of its time, is today on display at the Museum of Fine Arts.

Craftsmanship and business talent
In 1958 – a hundred years later – the newly-trained silversmith, Flemming Lund, received a silver medal for his apprenticeship piece. At just 21 years old, he was appointed the country’s youngest foreman and was given a job with Svend Christensen. In 1967, Svend Christensen died, and Lund took over the master’s business of importing Italian gold and silver chains.

In 1985, Lund took over the well-reputed companies ‘Bernhard Hertz’ as well as ‘Kjeld Jacobsen – Diamond jewellery’ and ‘Volmer Bahner – Enamel and jewellery company’. This made ‘Lund’ the main supplier to a considerable part of the country’s goldsmith shops. In the summer of 1995, Helle Lund joined and added a whole new dimension to the business with genuine pearls and semi-precious stones. She took over the company after her husband’s death in 2001.

Pure by Nat

Pure by Nat was first introduced in connection with Copenhagen Fashion Week January 2015.

The expression in our jewellery has always been a combination of both raw and feminine. I have always loved mixing the two styles, because that is my type.

Most of the jewellery is made on brass. Because here we could create jewellery with volume and raw surfaces.

The jewellery is coated with either 24K gold plating or a silver plating. We primarily work with genuine natural stones, freshwater pearls, quartz and cubic zirconia. Some stones can be coloured to achieve a specific expression. I think the stones and pearls give a beautiful feminine touch to the raw surfaces.

All jewellery is handmade
Pure is inspired by people. The cool guy on the subway, the colourful guy on the bike, the bohemian guy in the café and the minimalist on the street.

All jewellery complies with EU regulations regarding cadmium, lead and nickel content.

The jewellery is continuously tested by certified testing laboratories.
