The jewellery trend 2023

The jewellery trend 2023

We sent two of our buyers to the NYC JEWELLERY WEEK, fifth annual show, to get a feel for the newest trends in 2023. There were three new trends in particular that we believe in and will introduce at the end of March 2023. Precious metals and diamonds are on their way out, making way to other materials that contribute to more diversity and embracement of the environment.

Below we have made a small overview of the three things that we, together with a group of influencers in Scandinavia, have chosen as up-and-coming 2023 trends.

Chandelier Earrings

Chandelier earrings made a triumphant return for 2023, and we’re not one bit upset about it. Whether they fall among the more complex styles, like those at Markarian and Ulla Johnson, or they emulate a sleeker drop, go ahead and let your ears do the talking this spring.

Arm Cuffs

Like the best spring 2023 shoe trends, there were some jewellery trends that caught us off guard (in the best kind of way). One such trend was arm cuffs—you know, the bicep-hugging bracelets that have everyone feeling like an Amazonian warrior, as seen on the arms of models at Tory Burch, Bevza, and Kim Shui. Of course, we also saw traditional cuffs that would make Wonder Woman proud, à la Michael Kors.

Chunky Baubles

Bigger is better this spring season, and we’re on board. With supersized earrings at Tom Ford and chunky lucite bangles at LaQuan Smith, we foresee these bulky danglers being the party picks for when you’re feeling undeniably—and unapologetically—bold.

Thick chains

Dainty jewellery? Never heard of it. In the same vein as capital-C chunky jewellery, larger, statement-making chains made multiple appearances on the runway at Marine Serre, Proenza Schouler, and Collina Strada, to name just a few. If you’re looking for an effortlessly cool way to zhuzh up your looks for spring (and now, for that matter), this is one of our tried-and-true ways to do so.
